I think “fortuitous” is a great word and I don’t use it nearly enough. It is defined as “happening by accident or chance rather than design”. Today it makes me wonder if I am “designing” so much of my world that I am not allowing fortuitous things to happen!
So today my choices are more about my attitude and my approach rather than an end goal.
Pay attention to the good things that happen.
Ignore things I have no control over.
When there’s a choice, choose kindness and respect.
If I have the opportunity to make something fortuitous happen for someone, do it secretly and hold it in my heart.

I first saw the word fortuitous in the insurance advertisement that said they cover damages wrought by fortuitous events.
I also like this word. I have issues going on as well, so to rise above and do things fortuitous sounds good to me.
