Lately I am watching all kind of videos on Youtube, but mainly the ones about cooking. I tried a few recipes myself, nothing too complex, and I must say I am happy with the result. My last atempts were a cheesecake and a sandwich. I find this very fun and relaxing, I even ordered some cake trays online.
Anyway, I’m curious if you watched some cooking videos and if you tried the recipes. The picture shows my first Monte Cristo sandwich.

I have looked up recipes on the internet and usually just try the recipe. I am successful most of the time, no failures yet.

Hi Gogata Lonut. I have tried a sugar free dessert. It is called “No bake sugar free carrot cake”. There is no cooking involved too. Ideal for a lazy man like me.
Maybe I’ll have some free time this weekend, I really want to try 2 or 3 no bake cheesecakes. I reaaaaaaally do!
Yes and no … because I kinda “improvise” on my own because I don’t want to buy certain ingredients just for a dish… esp if I don’t use them often

This looks delicious! I like youtube recipes, because they are not always made by professionals and I get to see each step.
That’s what I like too, I see every step they do and it’s more useful than just reading about what comes next.

Hehe, I like them both. I have a cooking book that belonged to my grandma, it’s a book from the fifties. It’s one of my treasures ?.
I don’t mind watching a video, but when I’m cooking it is a recipe or nothing…

I rarely cook since I got married, you know, there are other people who can be relied on to fill my stomach.

Well, I do it for fun. I used to write poetry, draw and paint, I loved PC games, reading books and listening to music. I used to make some very nice bracelets or cute origami boxes. Now I love cooking, especially baking cakes ?.
I have a lot of posts with very good recipes. Look at them here, on Virily. Maybe something will suit you. Almost everyone is with Youtube.
