  1. Unfortunately or perhaps fortunately I can’t have the flu shot, I got it mildly around Christmas, I have a nine year old niece whose good at sharing lol. I frequently wash my hands, to avoid getting sick though!

  2. The only way to avoid the flu is to maintain or improve the immune system and immune system, right? For that, we only have to live in the balance between work and rest, healthy food with all the nutritional benefits, and minimum sugar consumption.

  3. Old family recipe- when you feel like you might be coming down with the flu, have a bowl of miso soup and a bottle of hot sake. Then bundle up and rest, it works every time for me…

  4. The flu in the US is at epidemic levels and is quite unusual this year. Normally, the flu hits the elderly the hardest, infants next, then children and young adults, and finally the people between 25-60. This year, it has hit the elderly the hardest, but the people between 25-60 are being hit the second hardest. That means that “baby-boomers” are more likely to get the flu than their grandkids. Normally, it is the other way around.
