Tulips in Canberra are originally from Ireland but grown big way in various parts of Australia now. This is flower season here so Australians are celebrating.
It was wonderful watching thousands and thousands lovely Tulips in Floriade Park. Every Canberra road leads to Floriade. You can see the place full of tourists but during September 14- to October 13 the place is full with activities. This is the time when Australia celebrates its spring in a big way.

I’ve already visited the tulip show. I’d like to see that too.
Oh my goodness, its so lovely!!
i love the field full of tulips! One of my favorite parts of visiting holland!
I don’t think I went there when I was in Canberra, looks like I missed a really cool place!
I hope you would visit it next year. The place is close to Lake Griffin.
I have always associated Tulips with Amsterdam and when I was there I hoped I would get to see them but I missed the season by just 15 days
I have seen these types and colors before and they are stunning.
Nice photographs send use, thank you very much.
I go to a local tulip festival 100 miles away every year. My husband loves flowers but not crowds so I typically go alone.
