First Halloween in oversea…

As we all known, Halloween is celebrated mostly in English speaking country. Thus, we  never celebrate here.

Me myself met the festival during my trip to New Zealand without a plan.

The kids walked around  within the  community with nice clothing,  ask for “Treat or Trick”. The adults opened the door and treated them some sweets  usually for not getting trick! 🙂

So excited me seeing them with such nice clothing and happy to celebrate the Halloween!

  1. I don’t celebrate Halloween, though we attended some celebrations, like Halloween parade in the shopping mall before. I usually just tell stories and do some activities about Halloween with my kids.

      • We didn’t buy costumes either. There were just some activities during each festival, such as Halloween, Mid-Autumn Festivals, Chinese New Year and Christmas held in the shopping mall nearby. We would just go there and join for fun.

          • I think it’s actually good for kids not to go to crowded places. We used to go when my eldest was younger, and there aren’t really many people in the shopping mall nearby my house, as it’s not one of the major shopping malls here.
