We have an early Father’s Day celebration yesterday and we went for some western food! My dad ordered a east meet west fusion (see photo above) which is Hainaness chicken chop with rice.
It actually tasted very much like Sweet-sour pork/chicken… lol

When cooked with sweet-sour sauce, it can sometimes be hard to tell the taste of the meat.
Usually we tell by the texture of it …
I’d rather have sweet and sour pork than chicken, but that’s just me…
Well, I do prefer pork over chicken too
Why wouldn’t you? Chicken is dry, while pork is soft and tasty
hmm… chicken depends on the part…
chicken breast is dry and “flaky” but drumstick is smooth !! lol
dark meat does tend to be less dry than white meat
Unfortunately, we don’t have this holiday in Bulgaria, but the dish looks delicious! I hope you had a wonderful celebration!
Nice dish, we eat outside last night for dinner.
