Fall Flowers: What’s Your Choice?

Summer flowers can do well throughout fall in certain regions. After suffering from late summer heat many can revive a bit when cooler fall days arrive. Some plants are used in the fall season because they somehow have come to be popular that time of year, whether it’s because that is their natural bloom season or their coloring means gardeners work to time their bloom for autumn.

A mix of purples, reds, and yellows is my favorite in the fall, though if I can get any white flowers at that time of year to blend in and highlight the rest I’m a happy camper.  New varieties of multicolored blooms always amaze me, but our fall season changes and I never know how early “too cold” will come.
