Color and burst of colors have the power to change your emotions, make you feel warm, cold happy or sad. Watching color through the lenses gives me a high. Colors shapes and light put me in a mood for photography. After a long time I had some fun again with my camera.
I hope you like this explosion of colors. I love the play of light and shadows in this picture.The late season chrysanthemums looked so beautiful that I had to take some pictures but not like the regular ones I always take. It wanted to highlight colors, textures , lights and shadows in this pictures.

Vivid colors, shades, and highlights. Lovely photo, Dawn.
Just this morning, I had an uplifting walk and work in my garden. I took a video of the cactus flowers and the bees busily hovering them. Wonderful sight to behold!
I am waiting for my cacti to bloom again. It is indeed uplifting. Gardening is what I do to when I need time for introspection and prayer.
