I saw this online and got curious about what moose cheese was. Then I found out that moose can be milked. Due to the complex process, it is one of the most expensive cheeses in the world coming in at $500 a pound. In Bjurholm, Sweden at The Elk House (Europeans call their moose “elk”) four varieties of this cheese are available and all due to the milk that three moose sisters give.
Their called Gullan, Haelga, and Juno and they are ready to offer their milk from May through to the end of September. That gives the owners 5 liters of milk from each moose per day. The cheeses that are made are soft, white mold cheese, creamy blue cheese, dried blue cheese, and feta. The top seller is the feta which gets preserved in neutral vegetable oil. Due to the expense, this cheese is only available in select restaurants all over the country.

I love cheese, but I usually stick to cow cheese.
Had no idea but I would give it a try. I love cheese.
i would give it a try the cheese. but I wouldn’t be interested in milking an Elk/Moose.
I am always curious about different foods and maybe I would go for this as well.
I love eating cheese. I’d love to give it a try
