Exotic fruit trees

I am fond of exotic fruit trees that I usually plant the seeds when I chance upon eating it. When we went to Bangkok, Thailand I brought home some Maprang plums. It is like a small mango and quite similar in taste. I had planted a seed and now it is taller than me although there are no signs of flowering yet.

In our trip to Jakarta, Indonesia, I brought home some Salak fruits. I also planted the seeds. In the picture is a Salak palm that is already 3 years old. Hopefully it will bear fruits next year.
