Events Kranj – Kranfest

Kranj is the fourth largest city in Slovenia, the center of the informal Gorenjska region. I live about 5 km from the town of Kranj, so I visit it several times. The city has a rich historical past and therefore quite a lot of sights. Recently, however, it is in Kranj also more and more events. The last major event was Kranfest. This is the biggest summer festival in Gorenjska. For three days, the city streets of Kranj became a stage of cultural events, culinary experiences, art markets and sports games for all generations. Of course, the music program is very varied too.

  4. I was at such festivals. In Ptuj, an event was held every weekend..Flower Day, Honey Day, day devoted to cherries..of course, and the inevitable days of beer. That’s when I first tried black beer.
