Some of you might still remember about one of the activities that I often do after midnight that I have told a few times here. Yes, walking in a remote, dark, silent nature. You can think of it as a kind of walking meditation.
You can imagine the fun of walking alone without anyone around you except everything in nature. Unfortunately, I have rarely done that activity in recent years due to various other activities, including exploring the world of Virily. lol.
The picture above I took in my last walk around the beginning of last month. You know, as beautiful as any darkness, the atmosphere is difficult to take as a picture. I took a photo of the well-lit street a few moments before entering an area that only had a path or none at all. If you are willing to pay attention to the dark area under the tree, that’s where I turn left to enter the path.
Of course, almost every time I do that activity, there are various unique or strange things happen. Well, we just need to enjoy it, or just consider it a lobby before entering the silence.

For me darkness of the night is to make use of it in bed. (lol)
That is in accordance with the recommendations of the health department, right??
I do tend to sleep late…
I strictly follow the ‘early to bed early to rise’ norm.
Yeah, I understand that as much as anyone. Maybe I am an anomaly.
I often enjoy such walks. I use solitude in the dark night by the sea, but when there are people walking in a radius of 100 meters. Otherwise there are dangers.
If we are often in a dark and lonely place, alone, we are always alert… Enjoy your night but be careful, Elenka.

I am not afraid of solitude but I do not like solitude in the middle of the night in an empty street!!!
I can understand that, dear friend. Maybe I’m just too weird…
Or perhaps you live in a great neighbourhood with nice weather and colourful surroundings
I enjoy the night, but the day is my time to feel even better.
Yessss… Indeed you are a Brightside person…
Thank you, but today I had a trying day. I am fine now!
I enjoy solitude in the dark in my bed. I do have a son who loves to walk in the dark.
I also prefer to sleep in the dark.
Then, now I feel curious about your son…
He is an adult but like to go for short walks at night. My dad was the same way, a s child I remember watching him as he walked in a field outside our home back and forth. He continued his nightly walks up to a day before he passed away. I guess some people just love the solitude of walking in the dark.
Apparently your father’s fondness for the night walk flowed into your son. Have you ever asked about their night walk?
Yes of my son but no real answer. My main concern is always safety
I love darkness and I feel safe in my home’s surroundings. But I avoid walking in strange places.
It’s good to know that we both like darkness. I like to walk alone in the dark because I also like to be alone. For you, it’s better not to walk alone in a strange place especially at night.
Everyone feels the need to be alone for a while. I wouldn’t go out for a night out for fear, so I spend a lot of time on my patio.
Basically, I am a loner and like to be alone, which is why I like to do various ways to be alone, including sitting alone on the patio like you do.
We can enjoy solitude in any place where we feel good
Yes, you are so right, dear friend.
It is not too safe for a woman walking alone in the darkness of the city. I better stay on my balcony and admire the moon!
I do not recommend you at all because it is strange for women to walk alone in the middle of the night, other than at risk. I also will not walk in the city, dear Ileana, for the city is never quiet and too much light.
I enjoy being in my screen room at night. But I am a little afraid to walk in total darkness. However, I can meditate and be there in my mind.
Well, as long as you can enter into the silence within yourself, any method is good, Carol. Sometimes, if my mind is too noisy, just sitting cross-legged can not make the noise subside.
I have to really focus to make the noise go away on some days.
Yep! That is the main way to switch from noise.
Otherwise, I like to walk only at night but I have no special desire … it’s safe to walk at night … only some animal can surprise you … they are very active at night and graze in the fields and do damage
Good that it’s safe to walk in your area at night. Indeed the challenge is to walk in the dark without any light around and only rely on moonlight. Fortunately, there aren’t many wild animals in my area. For others around me, their advice is to be careful of haunted ghosts. You know, my country is full of mystical things.
Yeah, I’ve heard that before, dear Albert …. do you believe that? Is it really scary?
Scary? Everyone has different forms and levels of fear, right?
Albert Herdianto Widjojo, I want my answer to be sometimes. I do enjoy it unless there are a lot of animals out. I have come upon cougars, moose, elk, skunks and deer and sometimes that doesn’t turn out too well!
Wow! In such circumstances, you really have to be extra careful. Maybe I’m a bit more fortunate because there aren’t many wild animals in my area.
Nice to do that but stay safe… Auckland is definetly not a safe place for anyone to walk alone at night.
Ya ya ya… I understand, Pamela. Each region or country does have different conditions.
Thank you for your advice, I will be careful.
This is a Great to See.
