Each time I look at this photo, I see myself anxiously waiting to get to the Colorado Mountains I heard so much about. My nephew warned me that I may find it difficult to breathe but I was so happy that I managed very well.
I so wanted to play with snow which always evaded and avoided me and I found some there.
We ate at a restaurant and there were buffalo wings. I wondered what that dish would look like. Yes. I conjured up some kind of buffalo in my plate (lol)
Then we went to a small shop and we picked some white chocolate which he said was the speciality of this place. We also picked up maple syrup. I just waited to pour it on pancakes which were planned for breakfast the next day.
Small things but great memories.

That road is alittle bit scary.
I did not find it to be that way. It was a smooth ride.
Nice trip road looks scary to drive on but I have done some roads like that before
I do not think there was any driving issue as the road was smooth.
Glad you had a great trip. Travel almost always brings pleasant memories.
Travel has been a passion with me and I am glad I could do quite a bit of that before my accident in 2006

Very little. Odd really considering that I visited so many cold countries.
This is really interesting …. you have to come to the Alps (Switzerland, Austria) in the winter, where it falls up to 2 meters or more
I have visited Switzerland and have been on Jung Frau but can you believe that there was just ice but no snow? (Lol)
I believe because you were in the summer …. the snow is still ice because it is a glacier …. you should come in the winter
