There are times when you want to begin something with a clean slate. Your life can become peaceful, more organized, more joyful, and more productive simply finding some effective ways to clear your mind.
Unfinished Tasks Clutter the Mind
Everyone seems to have one or two things that didn’t get done and are not crossed off the to do list. Those are the things that as you crawl into bed you worry about. ‘Do I get up and try and finish? Were they really that important? I can’t seem to just relax.” Often that inner voice is very loud. Let’s explore some different ways to address the issue and settle the mind down so it can get to the work of repairing your body.
-
Get up and set a time and date when you can finish the task and the listen to some white noise to calm the body and prepare for rest.
-
If the chore is that important, get up and do it. Maybe tomorrow really is too late.
-
Do a little exercise. Tension is filling your mind and body and one of the best ways to release it is some kind of exercise. Maybe it’s simple stretches, perhaps you can vacuum for five minutes. Would it be a good time to mop the floor?

Try aromatherapy ~ people react differently to scents. You should bring a few cotton swabs to check your reactions to the ones they suggest.
