Looking at the sunset from my deck always makes me feel many different emotions. This particular one allowed me to drift away to another level. I left all of my worries and cares behind for a few moments. I was reminded of the Dobie Gray song, Drift Away. If you are not familiar you should listen to it here Drift Away. And here are some of the lyrics:
Day after day I’m more confused…Yet I look for the light through the pouring rain…You know that’s a game that I hate to lose…And I’m feelin’ the strain…Ain’t it a shame…Oh, give me the beat boys and free my soul I wanna get lost in your rock and roll and drift away

I believe that if something is good enough, whether it be a book, poem or even a sunset, the mind will tend to drift away for more than a moment
I believe that as well LaJenna, that is what I call meditation.
Beautiful sky photos, Carol. The sky and music is a wonderful combination, hey… even the sky is the music itself.
Thank you Albert, music goes with anything in my opinion!
You’re most welcome, Carol. Yeah! Music goes with anything indeed!!!
I have a plaque that says music is food for the soul. I believe it!

I listen to a lot of time almost every day. So I drop the “steam” from the locomotive.
Good for you Elenka, we have a lot in common.
