Dogs in the street

In our country, it seems that stray dogs or loose dogs in the streets can be considered part of our culture. Unless it is strictly prohibited, stray dogs are present in secondary roads. Worse, they are also there in private villages except in the high end villages where the rich and famous live.

Stray dogs are the carriers of diseases and they spread it fast. There was a time when rabies got prevalent so the government embarked on the capturing of stray dogs in the streets. But now that there is no rabies scare, the loose dogs are having their heyday on the streets. For the stray dogs to vanish, owners of such dogs should be arrested and jailed.
