I have to admit, I am liking the whole jar thing. The main reason I like it is portion control. You eat your jar and you are done. I can purchase all sorts of jar sizes for every occasion.
One of my favorites it taco salad in a jar. We can make them at home and toss them in a cooler. They travel well and they taste great. One of my adult children reminds me that there are other types of dishes than mason jars or fancy mason jars.While that is all true, l like my jars.

We have an excellent long handled scrubber.
I never thought of a jar, but I’d be afraid it might break. I prefer to transport in plastic. But I hardly ever need to take food anywhere these days and can usually eat at home.
We take them everywhere in a the cooler.
I guess that would protect them.
It does look better in a jar but only to take pictures 😀 However I prefer the old style. At least me 🙂

It just look like it’ll taste nicer in jars… lol
Perhaps that it why some think it tastes better. We use them a lot for road trips.
