Do you like soup?

I think the Asian and Western have some different views about soup.

To the asian, soup are usually “watery” or more liquid while the Western have “thick” (or creamy) soup which are more molten.

My mother loves to make soup and she’ll always try to include a soup whenever she does cook.

The picture above is what she call “ABC soup” because its made up mainly of 3 ingredients – corn, carrot and potato.

  1. As a good Venezuelan peasant woman, I like soups called ‘sancocho’ here in Venezuela. I do them frequently, of sins that are watery and of chicken or beef that are a little thicker. We put many vegetables extracted from the ground, edible roots such as potatoes; some are called Calcuo, Yucca, Mapuey, Yam; and pumpkin, ripe and green banana; and other ingredients to give it flavor.
