My favorite food is vegetables and fruits. I’m not a vegetarian but meat is not to my taste. However, I try to eat at least some piece of meat. It is very important to bring enough iron into the body with nutrition as its supplies deplete quickly, which has an adverse effect on the whole body. Consequences of iron deficiency are manifested in a decrease in physical and intellectual ability, a deterioration in general well-being, and in extreme cases can lead to anemia. As mentioned earlier, meat is not a condition for a healthy life. It is possible to obtain all the necessary nutrients from the food of plant origin. In order for our body to get enough iron, it is advisable to include red meat in our menu. Although sometimes underappreciated, red meat is an important food for bringing enough iron into our body. Most iron is found in liver, meat and meat products, legumes, cereals, seafood, dark green vegetables, and dried fruits.

Meat is important but does not mean we have to eat every day too. I quite often eat meat, alternating between beef or chicken meat, unfortunately I do not like fish.
I also love chicken and beef. I also love fish. I eat them at least once a week.
Only a few types of fish that I like, others that are too thorny and fishy-smelling I can not eat it because I was ever allergic to fish.
If you are allergic then watch what you eat.
I have no allergies anymore, but because I have never eaten them before when I tried then, some types of fish do not suit my nose and tongue.
I have cut back on the consumption of meat here, especially red meat. I feel better. I thought my husband would complain, but he hasn’t yet. I guess he hasn’t really noticed since he eats lunch out when he is at work.
I very rarely eat meat and this chicken meat. My partner doesn’t complain either. He agrees that we have reduced reduced meat consumption. I’m very glad we were able to agree on this.
We should not be eating meat every day. The meat industry has made us to think this but we do not need meat so often. What is more, animals suffer and our environment as well. Fast food should not be so cheap.
I totally agree with you. You really don’t need to eat meat every day. Everything else our body needs can also be obtained with other varied foods.
we have meat 4 to 5 days a week with a couple of veggie only meals to finish the week off.

It depends on your overall health, honestly, if you have blood sugar issues (I do) protein is a life saver!
I have no problem with sugar. But with cholesterol, which is not good for my heart, which I have problems with. It is not clear to anyone how I can have cholesterol problems based on what I eat.
We do but little portion only, not the main course.
Here is the opposite. The meat is like the main course and the portions are large.

Lately I have been adding more plant based foods to my diet. I love it when I purchase potatoes at the grocery store. It is by far one of my favorite and filling things to eat outside of meats.
