DIY Enzymes Drink?

I’ve recently bought a book about DIY enzymes drinks from a 2nd-hand store. Apparently, enzymes are very beneficial for our body. They help cleanse the body and build immunity.

I’ve tried to make some enzymes myself and excited to know how they’ll turn out!

  1. Biologically, there are many enzymes and not all of them are physically useful. In fact, some can be harmful. The definition of an enzyme is ” A catalyst or a chemical produced by cells to generally speed up a specific chemical reaction without changing the chemical reaction at the end of the reaction” (biology-online). Thus, many cancers spread and grow due to enzymes.

    • Yes, I understand where you’re coming from, but I’m talking about Fruit Enzymes which is known to be beneficial for the body.

      • Yes, there are enzymes that do a great deal of good. Fruits also tend to be packed with anti-oxidants, which are great protection against cancer. I just wanted to mention it in case people thought that all enzymes are good. Truth is that most are probably neither good nor bad. That isn’t exclusive to fruit enzymes, though. For that matter, enzymes help turn fruit juice into wine or vinegar. A small glass of wine a half-hour before meal time is great for digestion.

  2. Hmm… I’m not surprise…
They used to be popular for a while way before…
but still their benefits won’t decrease just because it’s less popular now :p
