Alcatraz is one of the most famous jails in the world. His location is on a small island near San Fancisco. Is now closed, but open for tourist and it is a very big attraction in San Franciso. Many movies are filmed there, mostly related to escape from prison.

I am not sure if I have watched any movies with this jail. It’s good to know it’s become a tourist spot, so people can visit and know how it worked there. If I have a chance, I would like to visit Alcatraz. 🙂
I have been there and we were taken to the prison cells particularly that of Al Capone.
Would love to visit but not go into San Fransisco.

I’ve seen films which have been made at Alcatraz. I’ve never visited here myself, but have got friends who have been here. And they say it’s very interesting. I’d love to visit here.
