This is one dish I have never tried making myself. We have a hotel here that has the best cauliflower manchurian and we order it from there
I have now decided to make prawn manchurian using the same recipe that is used for making the cauliflower manchurian.
It is actually a Indo-Chinese starter. The prawns, in this case need to be deep fried in batter prepared from white flour and a bit of corn flour to which salt, chilli powder and pepper powder is added. The recipe suggests that it is first fried in oil and then once again deep fried after coating it with this batter. I will skip the first part as I do not think prawns need that treatment.
The sauce is the same as one prepapred for any Chinese dish. You just soak the fried prawns in it and granish it with spring onions
There are countless recipes on the Net if one is interested in trying them out.
Have you tried making something that you order from a hotel?
