So far we are on track! We ate better yesterday, we walked our mile and we got our 7 hours of sleep. (Yes, even one more than we needed.) So Day One we did it! Now we have all the same goals for Day Two and we are going to learn something new.
We are learning about distraction time that is scheduled. (It doesn’t seem to be a distraction if it’s schedule maybe?) The basic premise is that you put yourself on DO NOT DISTURB. This means emails, phone and all notifications are turned. You shouldn’t be able to even see them. Then you schedule your distraction time to turn on those items and handle them. As soon as that time has ended you return from your distraction time you put the DO NOT DISTURB. This is going to take practice for us, our families and co-workers.
So today we are going to do two hours of DO NOT DISTURB and we will separate the two hours. It should be interesting.

Very good idea, It is hard to find a time during the day when we are not constantly in our phones or computers
I have put my phone away, but I am almost always at the computer.
Yeah me too. I use my laptop daily but I’ll for sure try to stay away from it more and go outside.
I sometimes turn off everything and do not look at my computer all day
If I am home at least part of the day I am on the computer.
This is an interesting idea. I am constantly checking my notifications, but I am happy when I catch myself not checking them for hours.
