I apply a thin layer to my face and then as it dries it tightens a bit and turns a lighter color. My skin can get a little itchy while the mask is drying. I use this a few times a week as a full mask. It goes onto my face very creamy and feels good. It does not have a bad scent as many others that I have tried. I leave it on for about 15 to 20 minutes. It rinses off easily and completely and my face literally glows afterwards! This is a great quality Dead Sea Mud Mask. I noticed my face felt a lot softer and smoother. I felt like I was at the spa. It was a perfect treat to myself to have .
