Cuticles are a natural nail protector and prevent water, moisture and bacteria from penetrating the nail. In addition, they contribute to a healthy look of nails.
Although the advice is not to remove the cuticles, this does not mean that you cannot treat them so that they do not look dry and careless.
So start by moistening your nails with warm soapy water to soften the cuticles, then remove excess skin from the cuticles with a special gel. With a wooden cuticle remover, gently push your cuticles back. Then, to remove those skins that hang around your nail, you will need pliers. Remember that you should cut these skins gently and superficially. Finally, hydrate.
This is what I usually do as I take care of my hands and do my own manicure.
