I managed to re write a poll I had written without the help of the Edit button. I saved it in draft and then I went through the normal procedure to get back to it. You will get a message to say you have no right but you will find it in the draft folder.
It had the appearnace of a published post. I copied the content. I opened a fresh poll page and pasted the content from the draft post on to the new poll page. I had to once again upload the image.
I got through and I could publish my post. The draft post stayed in the draft folder. No doubt a cumbersome procedure but atleast this way you can get hold of that draft and rewrite the post.
If you have a better method would love to know about it

I haven’t been visiting Virily for perhaps a month, and I didn’t know the edit button is gone. I just submitted a post for review, and then I realized that I have missed out something in the post. But I couldn’t find the edit button.
Thanks for sharing this method. I still have some posts in draft section. I’ll have to try this way to get them published. 🙂
It is a pretty long winded method and until Admin reinstates the Edit Button we have to go the round about way
I have things in my draft and stayed there so I decided to write the whole thing over again. I thought we could not copy and paste here.

I am now doing my posts as carefully as I can and my Grammarly is a great help but I did run up against one problem and that was when I posted a story with two videos one video showed up and one didn’t it was not a tragedy because the main video was there but it just made it odd that I had mentioned another video and there was none I hope that edit button comes back
That is where you can use the method I am using But since you have posted it already I suppose you have no option. You can always save and then do what I am doing
You can access but there you cannot edit it You have to as I have said open a new page and copy/paste the content there and then edit.

I just create the post and publish it right away. However, custom answers in polls and quizzes don’t appear.
I too do the same but sometimes there could be typos and this way we can edit them. Poll questions can be typed again in the new poll page.
For typos, I use the free version of grammarly.com
It catches other mistakes too.
Sometimes they just escape our attention.

It worked for me as I always find typos in my text.
Lately, the edit button doesn’t work for me as well, in fact I don’t even have that option.
The edit button is not there and therefore I use this method.
It’ll work if you do not need to change any of the options … as you should have known by now that changing and sometimes adding new options does need the post to be saved and refreshed …
But still a good work around! 😀
In the new poll page you can make changes even in the options. I did that for this post. For that matter anything and everything can be changed if you do not click that save button but if you click the publish button then all errors will appear in the published post.
Thank you for sharing the trick. I have copies of my post in a word document just to be assured in case something like this happens.
It is better to edit what is in the draft
You publish both photos. Put a title. Fill out the box – I agree to the terms and conditions. You’re leaving the post. You go to Create again and the photos are displayed. And you go on. No need to store it in drafts. I have another problem I can’t open any other option – dashboard, viruses, posts, etc. I can’t create a new collection

If you leave the post and open another poll page I know the image will be there but not the contents. You therefore need to save. When you try to save you will see a message that you have no right but the post gets savedin the draft folder.
That is bad about not being able to carry on with whatever you want to do.
Quite the workaround for something that I am sure can be easily addressed and fixed by the Virily administration. Too bad they are not on the ball to keep it rolling. Great of you to have figured out a way to still get your pills published. Thanks for letting in everybody on your secret…
I would certainly be happy if users did not give up but wrote their posts just because there is no Edit button. .
Nice workaround, Grace. It is more challenging with quizzes, because each of the questions and their answers have to copied and pasted individually. I really hope this problem is addressed soon.
