This is my contribution to the challenge of crazy color. Before we poison our garden with pesticides, let’s try natural laws. Among the plants that are virtually must have in the garden, garden marigold, Tagetes, garlic and onion. A clever gardener plants Tagetes all over the garden, even among vegetables. It has a very distinctive and special smell. Chasing soil nematodes, and thus beneficial to the ground. If they are rife with pests in the garden, you can drive away with a carpet of these flowers. Tagetes protect plants against liceand Colorado potato beetle. But snails love this plant, so we are sown on the edges of flower beds or in a more remote corner of the garden where they will keep the snails from looking for food during the vegetables. Even vole not like the smell of this plant. This animal has a very sensitive nose and does not tolerate the smell of the tagetes.

drives away bugs, but rings a dinner bell for snails…
hahaha … exactly though it sounds a little weird
the phrasing isn’t all there yet
I always have marigolds in the garden.
I have a lot of healing flowers in the garden and flowers that chase away pests.
There are many many colors, but this color is magnificent. I don’t have this flower at home, but I have many pictures.
I also like this color the most. I still have them in yellow.
The flower is beautiful but it looks like a marigold.. good ideas. I don’t like pesticides.
The flower is really very much like a marigold. Also, I solve problems in the garden without pesticides.
Yes, so I am finding out with the Broccoli.
You love flowers. That’s why you love Maribor.
You are right. I really love flowers …. and Maribor currently going great ?
I don’t know the plant but I sure love the color.
Thank you, color is really something special
I do not know this plant and do not have it in the garden … next year I will surely plant it … thanks for the smart advice, dear Vidocka
Let us know if the flower really works
Absolutely only if I don’t forget, dear Vida
I will remind you …..
What reminds me is the more forgettable, dear Vida
Stunning. I have this same color in my garden. Beautiful.
Carol, we seem to be very aligned … we know what’s best ?
Great picture. We don’t have any in our flower garden. I understand that they are beneficial for many reasons.
Thank you, Linda. I think that the pests are accustomed to all our flowers. ?
It looks nice, but I don’t grow it …
Thank you, Alibb…..
I have them growing everywhere in my garden, however the pest attack continues. I don’t don’t use chemicals to kills pests either.
I think pests are used to all our flowers. Even flowers don’t help me much.
I need to have some in my garden. The only problem is they are an annual here. How easy are the seeds to collect? Do you know? Great shot btw. Love that orange. Wow!
I pick the seeds myself. When the flowers dry, the seeds themselves fall from the flowers. If the flowers do not dry in the garden, I tear them down and dry them on the terrace.
Thank you so much for the answer. Okay then that sounds easy enough. I do have a big snail problem as well. Would you suggest planting them, then just dealing with the snails?
I also have big problems with snails. I’ve tried countless things, but it doesn’t work. Now I’m going to try these flowers. I don’t know if it works or not?
No i don;t have this plant in my home
Thank you so much for the comment
