On TV I saw a commercial for the new Opel Astra, which was filmed in Norway and the emphasis is on the lights because the northernmost part of Norway’s night or day lasts a lot longer. I’m interested in living in a polar day or night, ie 6 months is a night and 6 months is a day.

Interesting! A colleague was able to have a vacation in Sweden and she told us that there is only a little over 5 hours of daylight hours. This is interesting because, in our country, we have an almost equal number of hours. In fact, you would it’s 12 noon because the sun shines on top of you. The sun will go down at 5:30 to 6:00 PM. It’s quite different when I stayed in Singapore because at 7:00 PM, the sun is still shining.
Would love to visit Norway but not without power.
Yes I think I could live six months of night as I used to work full time evening and nights in the past as an ex registered nurse. But as for the 6 months of daylight, I might have some problem… interesting post and suggestion.
