Cotton Says Hello ~ Black and White Friday

Sharing a photo of the resident state park owl Cotton. She was rescued from the snow by a park ranger. Her wings were injured and she can never be in the wild again. But she is well taken care of at the park.

Every animal has his or her story, his or her thoughts, daydreams, and interests. All feel joy and love, pain and fear, as we now know beyond any shadow of a doubt.  ~Ingrid Newkirk

  1. Hello sweet Cotton. Hope you are doing well but it does look like it. The park is the safest place to be for you right now. Take care sweetie pie… Now Carol I expect you to deliver this message word for word… Just a joke…

  2. I LOVE owls. In fact I was going to post here; but I’ll post on MyLot. We have a couple of owls that visit every so often at night and hoot, hoot, hoot.
