Visited the local state park to see my friend Cotton, the rescued owl. As I shared before, she has a friend now, in a cage beside her. So cool that the park rangers rescue these wild animals and proved a safe home for them. It always does my heart good to visit Cotton and see that she seems to have everything she needs.

Yes, the park rangers do this all the time.
I sometimes think, why aren’t they put together in the same cage?
There is never a ranger there to ask when I go. Probably for many reasons, I think maybe one is male and one female, not ready for mating perhaps, health reasons, not sure exactly but I will keep you posted.
I am curious, but can also understand if it is a health reason or the possibility of fighting if put together.

She is beautiful in person i get as close to her as possible, and she will turn her head completely around the other way. 🙂
Owls are such beautiful animals, we have one that lives around here that I can hear at night.
