Core Set of Beliefs

It is important to know where you stand and what your core beliefs are. You do not have to share the same beliefs and values of your parents, spouse, children or friends. It all works just fine with a little decency and respect. Decency and respect are lacking in many. Try and distance yourself from people like that and you will have a much happier life.

True peace comes when you dig deep and determine your core beliefs and then with courage be true to those beliefs.

I have a very close friend who doesn’t believe in a higher power, God, or that a spirit exists after the body dies. This is completely different to what I believe. Still there is a respect between us that allows those very different beliefs to exist in harmony in our relationship. I though this was the case with most people, recenlty I have learned that not many people are tolerant enough to appreciate difference. I am grateful for my friends.

People who can identify their core beliefs are happier, more resilient and healthier.
