Copycat ~ Day 200

This post marks 200 days of the challenge. I have two rescued cats, for a few years now. Dude is the most photogenic. Brendel not so much. I captured the Dude in one of his special spots in the screen room yesterday, on a pillow, watching the birds. I want to come back as a cat in my next life, if that is possible. Who knows if there will even be a next life. But one can hope. I want to be in a home like the Dude. And of course it would be cool to have Dustin there. As long as I am dreaming, dream big, right? A copycat of my cats’ lives would be nice. Nothing bothers either of them. Well maybe if they don’t get enough attention, which is rare. No worries or stress. A copycat life of my cats…with Dustin.

  1. I do not believe in reincarnation with humans, but animals I really do not know lol. Bad things happen to us all. God is just there to help us through it. I heard from little on that Satan causes the evil things to happen not God. Just my belief!

  2. There is a legend that dog people talk about. They call it the rainbow bridge. That is where your dogs will wait for you, until they time you return. Leash in mouth ready for a walk. There is much beyond our world that we still don’t understand.

  3. I would like to believe… I mean the belief in reincarnation has been around since ancient shamanism and the Egyptian, Greek, Hindu, Buddhist and Roman religions. It is present in most Eastern religions (Vedism, Hinduism, Buddhism and Taoism) and the native American, African and Oceanic indigenous religions. The belief in reincarnation has survived as a heretic or unofficial position even within the Judeo-Christian religions (Christianity, Judaism and Islam) despite not being officially accepted.

  4. I don’t believe in an afterlife. I so so so wish I did. I used to hold strong Christian beliefs until I had an epiphany in my late twenties, when I realised that religion is (as Karl Marx so aptly described it) the opium of the people. Opium is so tempting – it takes away all the pain…

  5. I kind of believe in reincarnation … but I was told you’ve to do lots of good deeds to be reincarnation into a “good body” (like human) and I’m afraid I would turn into a cockroach (and I would hate myself and never look into a mirror)!!

      • Haha… I was just joking when I say that… I don’t think I’m so mean I’ll become a cockroach but I can’t say I didn’t do anything bad… It’s so hard to measure… And yeah, we’ll never know what will happen after death and I don’t wish to know it too soon.

Anyway, yes, THINK POSITIVE!! Thanks for the reminder 🙂
