Hello friends, do you know how much important is the use of wood in snowfall area. This is a big issue when it is snowing. How difficult it is for people living in the mountains. When you living in mountains especially the snowfall area, you have to cut and store wood for cooking purposes. You can see the young boys bringing wood from the nearest forest to meet their needs. In addition to cooking, wood is also used to keep homes warm. These people who endure the hardships of the seasons become accustomed to the problems. The picture which is sharing today is the area of Kalaam in Swat valley, kheber Pukhtun Kha Provence of Pakistan.  In the local language burning wood is called ‘Baalan’, so I suggested topic of this post. After looking at the picture you will be able to estimate the difficulties of the people who live in hills.

  18. It is awful how many poor people we still have in our world. You would not see such a view in my country. People use wood for heating but not such as dry branches, but real premade firewood that they buy in advance. Mostly we use gas heating.
