Conflict: Would you leave or remain?

Today’s poll is based on a scenario. Suppose you are part of a group for which you are passionate. Suddenly, you cannot get on well with some members of that group. What would you do? One would consider leaving or remaining. Those who leave do so because they want to preserve the peace. If there was an alternative group, leaving becomes easier. But some might misconstrue that move. They might see this one as a weakling. After all, there are thoughtless people everywhere who make trouble for others. On the other hand, the individual might decide to remain in the group and focus on making the most of a bad situation. It would serve as training in building confidence and conflict resolution. The disadvantage of this decision is that the individual would be in constant contact with the source of conflict.

What would you do? Take the poll and express your opinion.

  1. Nice post. No one likes conflict, myself included. However, I would also make the best of such a situation if my association there was temporary and compulsory.
