Sri Lanka Cricket has officially complained to the ICC about the type of pitches prepared for the Sri Lankan matches, the practice facilities, the hotels and the type of transport provided for the team.
Sri Lanka Cricket are unhappy with:1. Pitches being prepared for their matches that are green.2. Cramped bus with less seating capacity than other teams.3. Practice facilities provided at Cardiff only had 2 nets.4. Their hotel at Bristol did not have a swimming pool.

Rainy season in England, no need of swimming pool at all.
England has done a shoddy job of the preparations, no covers for the grounds and so many matches getting washed out would be my serious concerns.
Yes preparation are good enough. Rain also destroying the chances of teams.
