Color Crazy Challenge ~ The big green house

I found this big green house on a visit to Guyana in South America. While colorful houses aren’t common in North America, they are quite popular in other areas of the world. This one caught my attention because of the bright shade of green and the size. It also appeared to be a newly built house.

Guyana is famous for being the only English speaking country in South America and home to one of the world’s largest gold mines. With some 70% of the country still uninhabited, Guyana’s pristine rainforests, along with many natural resources. make it a green paradise.

  1. I had to click yes to the first question. Depending on where the house was located, I would say yes if it were in a tropical place, and no in the north. All of our houses are different shades of beige tan, grey, white. Boring. 😉

    • Yes, unfortunately that is what most people I have talked to remember most about Guyana, it put the country on the map for all the wrong reasons.
