This is my second entry for the Color Crazy Challenge – Pink. I love these pink hibiscus a lot. This and my orange hibiscus keep my garden looking colorful in every season. This one is more susceptible to attack from mealy bugs.
Those awful mealy bugs suck away at the sap and leave these plants so weak. Often times the plants die if not attended to quickly. This one has just been rescued from an attack and the flowers are not so huge and have less petals.
In a couple of months with some patient tending they will be back to their brilliant best. I need to keep an eye on them especially in the rainy season when I don’t pay too much attention to my garden.
