I hope this pitcher plant fits into the color crazy green challenge. I didn’t realize we had shifted to green this week.
I love greenery all around me. I have plants all over the house, my boys call it the Amazon forest. But its the greenery that provides the clean air and freshness we need around the home.
The only time I feel bad about having so many plants is when we have to go on a vacation. My friends dread it when I mention the word vacation. One friend of mine volunteered to water the plants a few years ago and then passed the word around. 😀
My vacations are stunted because of my plants and my dogs LOL. I don’t really mind it though.

I have lots of flowers and greenery in the garden … but I have nothing in the apartment

I had some orchids but they all dried up in the winter, dear friend … I don’t know if I had too much in the apartment and too little moisture
I have many houseplants. Some that could not survive outside I guess. I love having the indoor garden because it helps purify the air. And since the plants take in carbon dioxide and give off oxygen we are good companions as I do the opposite! (LOL) The more I exhale, the more they like it! It’s very sweet of them. I have found some good tricks for watering plants while I’m away. I tried asking my cat to do it but he is useless – in fact I named him Mo Yung! LOL
LOL My dogs would oblige me if I asked them nicely but I guess I won’t do that. That would leave me with a lot of cleaning and repotting to be done.

This is called Pitcher plant, it is a carnivorous plants, the pitcher like leaves traps insects and feeds on them.
I have an outside living room. So, I picked no. But should I have picked yes? lol I love these plants. My dad had them when I was growing up. I used to pour the water out of them when I was little.

At least I was able to participate this week. I was looking for orange color but to no avail. I actually saw a garden with orange flowers but I was in a public vehicle. About the plant, this is the first time I saw a pitcher plant. It’s unique and beautiful.
Sharon maybe even an orange dress on a clothesline would do I guess. Someone (Lachao I think) had posted an orange Jeep and that was interesting
I have so much of green around that I had to think before posting. I have one more ready and awaiting moderation.
Green for gardeners is always in abundance. 🙂
we no longer have plants, not by choice. My wife and I both forget to take care of them.
Its better not to have plants if we forget to take care of them.
it is, we do have trees and other plants in our yard!
