Cold and Dead Arm

This is an incident that I think will really amuse you. I was in my teens then and always slept in odd positions. One night I had fallen asleep with my arm up over my head on the pillow. Since that time I have never slept in this kind of position.

Anyway, during the night my arm had fallen asleep. I mean I had it up for many hours with no blood flow. Suddenly something woke me and I moved. At that moment plop – a cold, dead arm fell on my stomach. I couldn’t feel it and it was cold. Whose arm was that on me? You know at this terrifying moment you don’t even realize you are missing one arm. After I started feeling it my arm began to tingle. Scared me half to death and it was my own arm after all. It took me quite a while to get it back to normal and then quite a while to get back to sleep.
