Coffee Cup

Who doesn’t like to drink coffee? but have you thought about eating coffee cups? I think “No and Never” but now you can think it and do it as well. Because New Zealand’s airline ‘Air New Zealand’ is offering its customers a cup of coffee that can be eaten after drinking coffee. The airline says the purpose of introducing the cup is to reduce pollution. 

Air New Zealand has partnered with a business family called ‘twiice’ who specialize in making edible cups. These cups offered to consumers in Air New Zealand ‘are in vanilla flavors that do not melt by hot coffee. Airline manager Nikki Shiv says that she offers about 8 million cups of coffee to passenger annually and they  like eating edible cups.

Jamie Cash Moore, owner of the “twiice” Company, says they are working to make edible plates and spoons.
