When the rainy season comes, we had to clean the roof for the dried leaves from the trees around. If not cleaned, the rainwater will overflow and get inside the ceiling. It once happened and it was a big disaster in our home. So now we are alert about the onset of the rainy season.

Our roofs are completely different to this and do not need cleaning. They are tiled and sloping. If the tiles shift we have to get them repaired or we can get water inside.
It is good taking care of the roof before something wrong happens.
We have to do a lot of maintance. Those pesky critters love the roof.
the last big wind in our area two years ago, blew half our roof off! so now we have a new roof!
