This is super nice and cute Chinese lantern gifted by a best friend who carried all her way from Hong Kong to my place. So touching!
It’s a traditional and hand made one by those old craftmen which is rarely to get one nowadays.
The kids will play with this kind of paper lantern during the Mid-Autumn of Lantern festival on August, 15th each year, which is around end of Oct.
The Chinese believe, the moon will turn up with the biggest size in the year on 15th August each year.
