Every now and then I have to get my cheesecake fix. I love it. But I only eat it every now and then. The one I ate yesterday is a Mexican cheesecake. Yes you can order dessert after eating tacos, if you are not too stuffed. This time I got only dessert. I enjoyed each bite. The crispy cinnamon and sugar outer part, then the cheesecake filling, the vanilla bean ice cream drizzled with chocolate syrup. And yes that is honey drizzled on the edge of the plate. Lots of sugar. This is why I pace myself with this dessert.

I have never heard of this type of cheesecake but it sure looks great.
Me either until the Mexican restaurant had it on their menu.
