    • Thanks for viewing and friendly comment, my friend….there are many in our country … sadly more than half of the castles are sadly ruined …. there is no money for reconstruction ….. some are well preserved and maintained

          • I would agree, although England and Ireland have a few as well that are beautiful.

            My favorite castle of all time is Mad Ludwig’s castle just south of Munich. (well an hour plus south).

            I spent a day there. I could have spent a month!

          • I know this castle … I visited it several times … this is the fairytale castle NEUSCHWANSTEIN the castle of Ludwig of the other Bavaria … for me there is no beautiful castle in the world …. I agree that in England and the whole of Great Britain there are many beautiful castles
