2. I once loved cactus and collected it but then switched to collecting bonsai. However, I still like the cactus.
   It must be the fruit before it becomes a flower.

       • If you peel off the rind and spines, you can eat the insides. Mexicans call that nopales. it’s good in omelettes

       • And I learned that this fruit is even edible when you peel it off and remove the spines

10. We have prickly cucumbers that I think are cacti in South Africa. A wild fruit of sorts that’s quite delicious.

14. I have this one at home it has yellow flowers maybe you missed them. These are the fruits.
