Build a Bear … or a Cat … or a Bat for Halloween

Have you ever heard of “Build a Bear Workshop”.  When I first heard of it, I was very upset about it.  Why?  Because it was a fantastic idea and I was upset that I had not thought of it!  LOL.

Wikipedia supplies a really good company description:  “Build-A-Bear Workshop, Inc. is an American retailer headquartered in Overland, Missouri, that sells teddy bears and other stuffed animals. Customers go through an interactive process in which the stuffed animal of their choice is assembled and customized during their visit to the store.” 

Build-A-Bear Workshop is a specialty chain where you can go into the shop and create your own stuffed animals.  You can customize a particular bear and give it as a gift.  It started out as stuffed bears, but the business has grown by leaps and bounds and now you can customize almost any kind of animal.

The Halloween holiday is not usually associated with gift-giving but Build a Bear Workshop might make you change your mind.  If you wanted to give a personalized gift to your sweet little one, they might be happy to receive a Lucky Black KittySpider or an adorable Boo-rrific Bat.  Not trying to sway anybody but… the bat has ears that glow in the dark!
