Bright Red Flower ~ Nature Tuesday

That picture is a scene from a hotel in a suburb where I had to meet with several people when I was helping my niece a few months ago. From the meeting room, I looked outside the window and was drawn to see a large tree with bright red flowers while most of its leaves gone were eaten by the sun. After finishing the meeting, I went to the hotel terrace to take pictures.

I don’t know what tree it is for it’s too far, but it doesn’t seem to be a flamboyant tree (Delonix regia) because its flowers and flower clusters aren’t like that, is that an African tulip (Spathodea campanulata)? I don’t know either, but that type of a large tree with such red flowers is rather rare in my country. Well, at least there is entertainment for me while handling some business, right?

  1. Ah my friend as you know I have issues with the names of plants. I grew up with a biologist, and the names slide away from me.

But now I wonder, what does the universe call these living creatures?
