I have just watched Bohemian Rhapsody but my experience has not been great. The movie is not so good because it only portraits Freddie Mercury and the band Queen in a superficial manner.
Bohemian Rhapsody ends up being a kind of karaoke insofar as it pays homage constantly to some of the songs of Queen and the live act they rendered at the Live Aid concert in the year 1985. The coruscating career of Freddie Mercury and the band Queen deserved far much better than this movie.

But we must not ignore the fact that Bohemian Rhapsody is a box office.
Yes, it is and the main actor won the Oscar. But the music of Queen is so powerful that a movie about the band is a safe bet.

The ending of the movie was less than spectacular (he never actually reconciled with his parents). But overall I thought the movie was a good fun movie to enjoy.
Yes, the movie ended in 1985 with the Live Aid concert, but Freddie Mercury died in 1991, What happens with the final 6 years?? I thought the movie was going to be better although it is not a bad movie.

rumor is he was very sick the last 3 years of his life. They only played one or two public concerts after LiveAid.
I have the DVD and I love the movie. I enjoy the music of Queen and love to watch the videos on YouTube Freddie was a great showman
Yes, Freddie Mercury was a great showman, he died very early, Imagine what he could have achieved if he was still alive

My favorite Queen song is Bicycle Race. I don’t plan to see the movie because he liked to wear dresses in his spare time.

Agree that the music of Queen is better than this movie, heard a lot of similar feedback, so didn’t go to the cinema to see it. Queen is love of my life.
