I wish my boys never grew up at times. I remember the kids parties we used to have and the body painting we did for the kids. The children enjoyed having their arms and legs painted. The girls almost always chose flowers and birds while the boys chose animals and super men.
I loved just sitting there in a corner and painting away on their tender arms. It was so much fun talking to them, asking them about their likes and dislikes and seeing the bright smiles on their faces when the painting was done.
I loved painting for the girls because they chose designs I liked to paint. My friend did the designs for the boys. It wasn’t so common then to do body painting and it was a hit with the kids. Everyone of them went home with a piece of art. I only wish that they took a piece of love for art and beauty with them.

I haven’t tried body painting yet. This is what my grandchildren adore
Yes, they did not do body painting when I was little but I have seen it done in fairs..
I remember body paint, we did that a lot in the summer.
You are right, the memories are wonderful. Watching the kids waiting for their art to be done!@
I’m not a fan of tattoos but children always enjoy being painted.
I am not a fan of tattoos either, Children love these.
This must be different from tattooing. We had neither painting nor tattooing.
Its just washable body paint. Children enjoy the fun of choosing their design and having it done like a fake tattoo
Kids and their parties will always remain in your mind. Sometimes I too wish my daughter was still a 3 years old 🙂
Hmm so true. They are so full of life and their parties are the best.
As kids we were doing stuff like that and it was a lot of fun
That was true fun, wasn’t it?
And I’m still thinking about the right tattoo today, my dear friend
