This shrub was planted by my sister inlaw. When we moved in looked like it was dying so my wife gave it a couple of doses of Epsom salts and this was the result, a blushing pink cluster. I don’t know what it’s called but when I find out, I will write it’s in the comments.

Epsom salt is expensive here so maybe I wouldn’t use it on my plants.

I have never tried epsom salts on plants, but as a child when something got into our eye we bathed it with some warm water with warm epsom salts and it cleared up.
They look like the Bougainvillea. Do they have thorns?
No thorns and definitely not Bougainvillea, I think it’s called Crepe Myrtle.

I have read articles about Epsom salts in gardening. It is something that a lot of people don’t know I guess. It surprised me at the time. I can’t identify the plant though. Cheers.
I checked, it’s called magnesium sulfate and it is apparently quite an old remedy for plant growth.
The dosage ratio my wife uses is a tablespoon to a liter of water once per week. She wanted me to mention that since she tried it on our struggling lime tree it’s now covered in tiny limes.
